Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) recently earned national recognition for its innovative member programs with the Case in Point Platinum Awards, the Medicaid Health Plans of America (MHPA) Best Practices Awards and the Web Health Awards.
The Case In Point Platinum Awardsrecognize the most successful and innovative case management programs working to improve healthcare across the care continuum. Centene received Platinum Awards in three categories including:
- Behavioral Health Case Management --NurseWise's Rapid Response program
- Women/Children Case Management -- Centene's Synagis® Success
- Medicaid Case Management -- Peach State Health Plan's Pain Medication Management
In addition, at the MHPA Award Forum, Centene received the Technology Award for Connections Plus®, a program that promotes care coordination by providing free cell phones to high-risk members. The MHPA Awards honor Medicaid health plans for their innovative and effective best practices which have improved the health of Medicaid enrollees by ensuring high-quality care.
