Centene's Member Education Programs Recognized By Dorland Health And Hermes Creative Awards

ST. LOUIS, May 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC) was recently honored for its innovative member health improvement and management by Dorland Health'sCase in Point Platinum Awards and Hermes Creative Awards.

The Case in Point Platinum Awards program recognizes case management programs that successfully deliver sustained efficiency and effectiveness across a variety of disciplines and settings in the continuum of care coordination. Centene and its subsidiaries, Peach State Health Plan, Nurtur, CeltiCare Health Plan, Buckeye Health Plan, Home State Health Plan and NurseWise, won awards in five categories including:

Centene was also recognized by Hermes Creative Awards for four titles in its member educational book series. "My Care Planner" was honored with a platinum award. "Darby BoIngg Meets Chrys and the Mums," "Darby BoIngg Meets Super J and the Body Mechanics," and "Quas-eye, Blink-eye & Vill-eye, The Gunky Bacteria Brothers," were given gold awards.

Hermes Creative is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies.
